E-20 blended petrol arrives in Kolkata amid engine health controversy
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan officially married his longtime partner, Gauri Spratt, in a private, intimate wedding ceremony at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on Sunday, July 5. The couple, who have known each other for 25 years and dated for the past two, exchanged vows in the presence of around 150 close family members and friends. Despite a heavy monsoon downpour lashing the city over the weekend, the rain did not dampen the festive spirits or prevent invited guests—some of whom flew in from overseas—from attending the special celebration.
Preparations for the high-profile wedding were in full swing at Aamir's Pali Hill bungalow leading up to the main event. Local paparazzi captured footage of workers navigating the heavy showers in raincoats to decorate the property with vibrant festive lighting and elegant decor. In attendance for the special day were Aamir’s three children—Junaid, Ira, and Azad—alongside Gauri’s son, marking a meaningful union of both families. Aamir had previously confirmed the date and intimate nature of the home wedding to reporters during a recent screening event for Rajkumar Hirani's Pritam and Pedro series.
This marks the third marriage for the veteran actor, who celebrated his 60th birthday in March 2025 by making his relationship with Gauri public. Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta from 1986 until their separation in 2002, and later to filmmaker Kiran Rao from 2005 until their split in 2021. While the newlywed couple has historically preferred to keep their personal life out of the media spotlight, the public confirmation and eventual home ceremony have drawn immense interest and warm blessings from fans across the country.
